About the Role As a Caseworker, you will provide structured, tailored support plans based on holistic assessments for individuals affected by crime. You will make initial contact with victims via the telephone, then tailor the support to them explaining our services, and assessing the impact of crime. Your responsibilities will include developing, delivering, and monitoring safety and support plans, providing resources, interventions, and information to service users. As a Caseworker you will: Manage a caseload of self-referred & referred service users, providing information & advocacy to help them navigate the criminal justice process. Conduct risk & needs assessments, ensuring each victim receives tailored support & information. Identify barriers to accessing services & work with partners to provide ongoing support. Keep accurate & confidential case records on a bespoke case management system Make calls to offer support to victims of domestic abuse, delivering immediate support. Develop, deliver and monitor safety and support plans for those affected by crime who accept ongoing support. Liaise and actively engage with other local providers to share information on the VS service offer Work as part of a team with staff and the volunteer team to provide a seamless service to clients About You You will have an understanding of the impact of crime on victims & experience in delivering services within a statutory, voluntary, or multi-agency setting. Experience in managing a caseload and of completing risk & needs assessments would be beneficial. You will need: Strong written & verbal communication skills. Strong IT skills, including the ability to navigate and utilise bespoke case management systems effectively and an ability to use Microsoft Office applications to a high standard Good organisational & time management skills, able to manage competing needs and priorities. About the Role You may be a qualified IDVA or a Domestic Abuse Outreach Worker wanting to work alongside professionals in a multi-agency environment, although we will consider applicants from other fields providing you are able to demonstrate comprehensive knowledge and understanding of both domestic and sexual violence. This role involves both face to face and virtual support in a hybrid model of working. There is an expectation that you will do a mixture of working from home & attend our office in Singer Street. As a DRIVE Independent Domestic Violence Advocate you will: Implement effective ways of working with victims and those supporting them to increase safety and reduce harm. Provide a high-quality, front-line service to victims of domestic and sexual abuse, delivering a premium service prioritised according to risk, primarily focusing on victim/survivors aged 16+ Work within a multi-agency framework consisting of the MARAC and local partnership responses to domestic and sexual abuse to keep safety central to all services for victims of domestic and sexual abuse. Have excellent communication skills, a proactive approach and the confidence to be able to influence the way in which this service is delivered are key. You will need to: Have a knowledge of help-seeking barriers and support needs of victims of domestic and sexual abuse (in heterosexual or same-sex relationships). Have a good understanding of domestic and sexual abuse including the impact of abuse on victims and their children. About the Role As an Offender Release Victim Champion you will support victims and survivors affected by the implementation of the Offender Release Scheme and changes to prison release arrangements. The role will ensure victim-survivors feel informed, reassured and supported whilst enabling them to make informed decisions about their safety and recovery. This includes helping individuals understand what these changes mean for them, the safeguards that remain in place and how they can access information and support through the Victim Contact Scheme and wider criminal justice partners. As Victims' Champion you will work provide specialist advocacy, information, emotional support, and practical assistance to victim-survivors affected by changes to prison release arrangements under the Early Release Scheme. You will manage a caseload of victim-survivors whose sense of safety, wellbeing, or confidence may be impacted by changes to offender release arrangements. You will ensure individuals receive timely, accurate, trauma-informed information and support, enabling them to understand the criminal justice process, exercise their rights, and make informed decisions about their safety and wellbeing. The role requires a highly trauma-informed, person-centred, and solution-focused approach. You will conduct holistic needs and risk assessments, develop comprehensive safety and support plans, coordinate practical interventions, and identify opportunities to strengthen protective measures, including target hardening, personal safety planning, civil and protective orders, and safeguarding interventions. You will work collaboratively with local victim services to complement existing provision and ensure victim-survivors can access appropriate specialist support. This may include assistance with housing issues, family court processes, school liaison, domestic abuse safety planning, emotional support, security improvements, and advocacy where risks have escalated following changes in release arrangements. About the Role As an Offender Release Victim Champion you will support victims and survivors affected by the implementation of the Offender Release Scheme and changes to prison release arrangements. The role will ensure victim-survivors feel informed, reassured and supported whilst enabling them to make informed decisions about their safety and recovery. This includes helping individuals understand what these changes mean for them, the safeguards that remain in place and how they can access information and support through the Victim Contact Scheme and wider criminal justice partners. As Victims' Champion you will work provide specialist advocacy, information, emotional support, and practical assistance to victim-survivors affected by changes to prison release arrangements under the Early Release Scheme. You will manage a caseload of victim-survivors whose sense of safety, wellbeing, or confidence may be impacted by changes to offender release arrangements. You will ensure individuals receive timely, accurate, trauma-informed information and support, enabling them to understand the criminal justice process, exercise their rights, and make informed decisions about their safety and wellbeing. The role requires a highly trauma-informed, person-centred, and solution-focused approach. You will conduct holistic needs and risk assessments, develop comprehensive safety and support plans, coordinate practical interventions, and identify opportunities to strengthen protective measures, including target hardening, personal safety planning, civil and protective orders, and safeguarding interventions. You will work collaboratively with local victim services to complement existing provision and ensure victim-survivors can access appropriate specialist support. This may include assistance with housing issues, family court processes, school liaison, domestic abuse safety planning, emotional support, security improvements, and advocacy where risks have escalated following changes in release arrangements.
