The office operates an open-plan working environment, with the successful candidate working as the only technician in the business. You will work independently while providing CAD and BIM support across the wider team, so they are looking for someone comfortable taking ownership of their workload while working closely with colleagues. The Role This is a hands-on technical role with the opportunity to take real ownership of how CAD and BIM are managed within the business. Alongside producing high-quality drawings and models to support our engineers, you will become a key point of contact for BIM, CAD standards and drawing quality assurance across the office. You will have a strong background in AutoCAD and Revit, who is organised, proactive and comfortable working independently while supporting a wider team. You will be the only technician in the business, so the role will suit someone who is confident managing their own workload, prioritising requests from different engineers and taking ownership of CAD/BIM requirements across multiple projects.
