Understand the importance of safeguarding and working collaboratively to ensure the safety and wellbeing of those you support. Recognise and value lived experience, advocating effectively for customers and ensuring their voices are heard. What You'll Do As a Support Worker, you will: Work alongside customers to develop personalised safety and support plans that focus on strengths, recovery, independence, and long-term wellbeing. Provide practical and emotional support, helping individuals and families make informed decisions and build confidence in achieving their goals. Carry out risk assessments, safety planning, referrals, and safeguarding activities in line with legislation, best practice, and organisational policies. Collaborate with partner agencies and professionals to deliver coordinated, holistic support tailored to individual needs. Build and maintain strong relationships within local communities, creating opportunities that enhance customer outcomes and strengthen support networks. Empower customers to access education, training, volunteering, employment, and community resources that promote independence and social inclusion.
