Chef Manager Location: Ringaskiddy, Co. Cork Salary: €50,000 per annum Contract: Permanent, Full Time About the Role We are looking for an experienced and passionate Chef Manager to lead our catering operation at Pfizer Ringaskiddy. This is a hands-on leadership role for a chef who takes pride in delivering high-quality food, exceptional service and consistently high standards. Manage food costs, labour costs and expenditure within agreed budgets. Ensure stock is correctly stored, organised and rotated. Drive the daily use of the Leanpath Waste Management System and actively reduce food waste. Ensure all food preparation and production complies with company standards and procedures. Maintain compliance with Health & Safety, hygiene, fire, COSHH and site requirements. Monitor equipment to ensure it is safe, maintained and fit for use. Support continuous improvement and identify opportunities to enhance the catering service. Build and maintain excellent relationships with clients and customers. Respond professionally to customer feedback, compliments and complaints. Support recruitment, induction, training, development and performance management of the kitchen team. Lead regular team briefings and ensure staff maintain a positive, friendly and professional approach. Support the achievement of service level agreements, KPIs, audit standards and client satisfaction targets. Where appropriate, will instigate disciplinary action ensuring that any such action is just, appropriate and fully complies with the Company Disciplinary and Appeals Procedure. -Complying with all relevant Safety Procedures. Nuclear Support -Support and interact with the GNSAG committee alongside the Marine Services Manager and the Electrical AP and be fully involved in the planning of visits from Nuclear Powered Warships (NPW) -Advise the committee on planned and ongoing works and report on the status of any defects and the maintenance state of supporting services and equipment providing all information necessary to enable the committee to authorise visits of NPWs. -Report to GNSAG at least four weeks in advance of the start date any planned activity that may affect the availability of the operational nuclear berths. -Be ‘on-call' during all NPW visits and, in the event of an incident, will take on the role of Incident Headquarters (IHQ) Representative -Maintain a pool of voluntary SQEP resources who will be members of the NERO and Intervention pools -Ensure that all NERO and Intervention volunteers have received up to date training required for the relevant roles -Regularly review members of the NERO and Intervention pools to sustain a viable pool of volunteers at all times. Logistics -Support and be responsible for MOD and Mitie stores teams and GFE audit processes. -For GFE assist the Procurement Manager and support the Procurement Stores with stock demands and storage. -Logistics (Stores) Manager is responsible for the management, accounting, storage, issue, receipt, collection, delivery and disposal of all MOD and Mitie held equipment and stores as well as publications, forms and stationery. -Ensure the teams operate the Management of the Joint Deployed Inventory (MJDI) and the Visibility in Transit Asset Logging (VITAL). Systems in accordance with MOD directives, publications and instructions in particular the Defence Logistics Framework (DLF). CBW is recruiting for an experienced Contract Manager to join a leading FM service provider at White City Place, one of West London’s most prominent commercial and innovation campuses. This is an excellent opportunity to take responsibility for the hard FM delivery across a small portfolio of buildings located within the White City Place campus, all within easy walking distance of one another. The successful candidate will lead a dedicated on-site team consisting of engineers, supervisors and administrative support, taking overall responsibility for engineering performance, compliance, client relationships, financial management and the day-to-day delivery of the contract. With multiple buildings, a busy campus environment and a highly professional client base, this role would suit an established Contract Manager who enjoys being visible on site, technically involved and commercially accountable, while building a strong relationship with the client. Hours of Work Monday to Friday – 08:00 to 17:00 Key Duties & Responsibilities - Report directly to the Operations Manager and take overall responsibility for the day-to-day delivery of the contract. - Lead and manage the on-site engineering, supervisory and administrative teams across the campus. - Oversee all planned preventative and reactive maintenance, ensuring high standards of service delivery across each building. - Manage contract KPIs and SLAs, ensuring performance targets are consistently achieved. - Act as a key point of contact for the client, developing strong relationships and maintaining a visible presence across the campus. - Take ownership of health, safety, environmental and statutory compliance across the contract. - Plan and coordinate building shutdowns, major maintenance activities and complex client projects. - Manage specialist subcontractors and ensure works are completed safely and to the required standard. - Oversee and maintain the permit-to-work system. - Provide technical guidance and support to supervisors, engineers and the client. - Lead recruitment, onboarding, development and performance management of the site team. - Conduct annual appraisals and support the continued development of team members. - Manage contract reporting and provide clear updates on operational and technical performance. - Maintain responsibility for budgets, P&L and overall financial performance. - Identify opportunities for additional works and contract growth while continuing to improve the client experience. - Attend and lead client meetings, providing operational, technical and commercial updates. - Ensure company quality procedures and standards are maintained throughout the contract. Requirements - Recognised Electrical or Mechanical engineering qualification – City & Guilds, HNC, HND or equivalent/higher. - Previous experience managing Hard FM services within a large commercial building, campus or multi-building estate. - Proven experience managing engineering teams, supervisors and specialist subcontractors. - Strong technical knowledge of commercial building services and maintenance. - Previous responsibility for KPIs, SLAs, compliance, budgets and P&L. - Strong client-facing skills with the confidence to build relationships with senior stakeholders. - Excellent leadership, communication and organisational skills. - Ability to manage and prioritise a varied and demanding workload. Account Manager - FM Service Provider - North West London - Up to £90,000 This is an exciting opportunity to work for an established FM service provider located in NW London. CBW are currently seeking an experienced Account Manager to oversee the delivery of all hard FM services across a new and large estate. The successful candidate will be M&E qualified with a proven track record in facilities management. You will be responsible for managing dedicated on-site engineering teams, ensuring all planned and reactive maintenance activities are completed to the highest standards, and that the properties operate efficiently on a day-to-day basis.
