As an Assistant Care Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the Registered Care Manager in ensuring the branch operates effectively, efficiently and delivers exceptional standards of care. Your responsibilities will include: ✅ Supporting the day-to-day management and coordination of the branch, ✅ Ensuring high-quality domiciliary care is delivered to service users, ✅ Maintaining accurate records, reports and documentation, ✅ Managing and investigating complaints from service users and employees, ✅ Recruiting, onboarding and supporting new care staff, ✅ Producing and managing staffing rotas to meet service demands, ✅ Supporting business development and identifying opportunities for growth, ✅ Ensuring compliance with regulatory, operational and health & safety requirements, ✅ Participating in on-call duties and responding to operational emergencies when required, ✅ Providing hands-on care support during periods of staff shortage where necessary, ✅ Building positive relationships with commissioners, stakeholders, customers and colleagues, ✅ Working collaboratively across departments to deliver excellent outcomes; and ✅ Supporting the ongoing development and performance of the care team.     Radis Community Care has an opportunity for part time (25 hours) Care Workers covering all the areas of Tamworth. The Tamworth area consists of, villages of Wilnecote, Belgrave, Dosthil, Stonydelph, Amington, Glascote, Leys and Leyfields depending on the areas you are asked to cover. Applicants will need the use of their own car, motorbike, moped to travel in-between your clients whilst on shift. The 2 different shift times are 7am-2pm, 4pm-10pm and alternate weekends. Care workers will be required to work both shift times depending on the rota. The role consists of following a rota and visiting people in their own homes within the local areas. This will be providing personal care using equipment , supporting with medication, meal times, general day to day living and making sure independence and dignity is met at all times. More and more people are wanting to remain in their own homes, with their loved ones and precious memories and surroundings.
