Summary

To monitor and manage active and backlog waiting list data, contact patients via telephone, the Reception desk and Trust systems. ensure appointments are arranged appropriately, support referral management and act as a first point of contact for staff queries and patient complaints. The post holder works 37.5 hours Monday to Friday within the Radiology Service.

· Liaise with clinical and non-clinical staff.

· Act as first point of contact for queries.

· Escalate complaints, capacity issues and patient concerns appropriately.

· To show a caring and professional approach towards patients, relatives and carers. This may require acting with resilience to deal with sometimes distressed patients and relatives in an empathetic manner.
