Your new role

As the Year 2 Teacher, you will:

Deliver engaging and creative lessons that inspire and challenge pupils.

Plan, prepare and assess learning in line with the Key Stage 1 curriculum.

Create a positive, inclusive and supportive classroom environment.

Monitor pupil progress and implement strategies to ensure every child reaches their potential.

Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents and the wider school community.

Contribute to the school's wider life, ethos and extracurricular opportunities.

What you'll need to succeed

We are looking for a teacher who:

Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).

Has experience teaching within Key Stage 1, ideally Year 2.

Demonstrates excellent classroom and behaviour management skills.

Is passionate about delivering high-quality teaching and learning.

Has high expectations for both attainment and pupil wellbeing.

Is a strong communicator with excellent organisational skills.

Is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
