Service Advisor
Location: Exeter
Salary: £32,600 per annum
Hours: Monday-Friday, 7:00am-4:00pm or later shift options available, plus Saturdays mornings on rota
Join a busy commercial vehicle dealership as a Service Advisor, delivering excellent customer service while coordinating workshop bookings, repairs and vehicle handovers.
Key Responsibilities of a Service Advisor:
• Booking customers and accurately recording vehicle faults
• Managing workshop loading and raising job cards
• Keeping customers updated on repair progress and completion times
• Explaining repairs, service requirements and warranty information
• Arranging payments, vehicle handovers and MOT inspections
• Promoting aftersales services and service contracts
Skills and Qualifications for a Service Advisor
Essential
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Strong organisation and attention to detail
• Ability to manage bookings and prioritise workloads
• Professional approach to handling customer queries and payments
Desirable
• Experience in a commercial vehicle dealership or workshop environment
• Knowledge of vehicle servicing, repairs and MOT requirements
