Duties of the HGV Technician:

- Conduct vehicle inspections, routine servicing, and fault diagnostics

- Perform repairs across all aspects of commercial vehicles

- Book vehicles into the workshop and ensure timely completion of work

- Prepare vehicles for MOT testing and present them accordingly

- Assist with roadside breakdowns and recovery operations

- liaise with the workshop team to optimise workflow and customer satisfaction

- Complete all relevant paperwork accurately and promptly

- Test drive vehicles post-repair to verify standards are met

Requirements of the HGV Technician:

- Qualified HGV Technician with City & Guilds / NVQ Level Three or equivalent

- Proven experience working with commercial vehicles

- Full UK driving licence; HGV licence is advantageous but not essential

- Previous experience in a similar role within the motor trade sector

- Positive attitude, motivated, and dependable work ethic

- Ability to multi-task and maintain high standards under pressure
