We are seeking an experienced Assistant Facilities Manager to support the effective delivery of facilities management services across a diverse client portfolio.
This role is responsible for ensuring high standards of service delivery, operational compliance, contractor management, and client satisfaction whilst supporting the Regional Facilities Manager.
Job Description
We are looking for a proactive and customer-focused professional who can lead operational activities, coordinate service providers, maintain compliance standards, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining safe, compliant, and efficient facilities services while building strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
Support the delivery and operational management of facilities services across assigned properties and clients.
Manage and coordinate contractors, suppliers, and specialist service providers.
Monitor service delivery performance and support continuous operational improvement.
Ensure compliance with Health & Safety regulations, statutory requirements, permits, and company policies.
Conduct audits, inspections, compliance checks, and maintain associated documentation.
Support emergency preparedness activities, including evacuation drills, business continuity plans, and Emergency
Response Co-ordination responsibilities.
Manage customer queries, complaints, and stakeholder communications professionally and effectively.
Promote a positive team culture and contribute to ongoing process and service improvements.
Professional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications
Strong organisational and multitasking abilities.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Sound knowledge of Health & Safety and compliance requirements.
Ability to analyse information, solve problems, and meet deadlines.
Experience supervising teams and supporting operational service delivery.
Business acumen and understanding of operational performance.
Customer-focused approach with strong relationship-building skills.
