We are seeking a Project Manager to manage the planning, execution, and on-site delivery of projects within the NEC4 FM Government contract, ensuring compliance with contractual obligations, health and safety standards, and client expectations.

Job Description

We are looking for a delivery-focused professional who can combine strategic project management with hands-on site leadership, bridging office-based planning and field-based execution to ensure seamless project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and manage project plans, budgets, and schedules in line with NEC4 contract requirements.

Coordinate resources, stakeholders, and supply chain partners to ensure timely and cost-effective project delivery.

Prepare and complete programmes across the project lifecycle.

Administer NEC4 processes, including early warnings, risk registers, and compensation events.

Maintain accurate project documentation and ensure alignment with public sector governance requirements.

Support procurement activities, prepare tender documents alongside the Quantity Surveyor, and manage the tender process.

Facilitate collaboration between office and site teams, subcontractors, and client representatives to maintain project progress.

Monitor project performance against agreed KPIs and SLAs, manage risks and change control, and ensure project reporting and variations are properly documented and agreed.

Professional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications

Proven experience in project and site management within FM, construction, or government environments.

Strong working knowledge of NEC4 contracts and public sector delivery standards.

Experience managing contractors and site operations, including health and safety compliance.

Familiarity with project controls, reporting, and stakeholder engagement.

Hands-on and delivery-focused with strong organisational skills.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills across office and site environments.

Proactive problem-solver with a safety-first mindset.

Resilient and adaptable in dynamic, fast-paced settings.

Ability to travel to required project locations.

Full UK driving licence required.
