We are seeking a Mobile AC & Refrigeration Engineer to provide air conditioning and HVAC-biased planned preventative maintenance (PPM), proactive maintenance and reactive works across a portfolio of sites within Cambridgeshire and the surrounding areas.
The successful candidate will ensure that customer expectations are consistently exceeded through the timely delivery of maintenance and repair activities.
Location: Cambridgeshire, including Cambridge, Peterborough, Northampton and Corby.

Job Description
We are looking for a professional and safety-conscious engineer with experience in commercial building services environments.
This role involves maintaining, fault finding, repairing and installing AC and HVAC systems while supporting wider building services maintenance activities and ensuring full compliance with health and safety requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Carry out AC and HVAC-biased PPM, proactive and reactive maintenance works within agreed timeframes.
Undertake maintenance of other building services, including fabric, HVAC and mechanical systems.
Provide callout support as part of the client callout rota.
Complete new installations and major and minor repairs on client air conditioning systems.
Diagnose and repair system and plant faults, including basic electrical fault finding.
Undertake contractor control duties, including monitoring workmanship and issuing Permits to Work.
Ensure all AC equipment operates to specified performance standards and company requirements.
Maintain accurate records and complete all administrative documentation in a timely manner.
Professional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications
Skills & Experience
Experience providing air conditioning and HVAC-related building services maintenance, including fault finding, maintenance and installation.
Previous experience delivering both reactive and planned preventative maintenance (PPM).
Experience working within facilities management or building services in commercial properties.
Experience working to strict health and safety procedures, including risk assessments and method statements.
Ability to build positive client relationships and provide a professional service at all times.
Proactive approach to identifying service improvements and innovations.
Qualifications
City & Guilds 2079 Safe Handling of Refrigerants or CITB J11 Equivalent.
AND
One of the following:
NVQ Level 2/3 or City & Guilds in Commercial Refrigeration and AC Systems; or
NVQ Level 2/3 or City & Guilds in Heating and Ventilation; or
NVQ Level 2/3 or City & Guilds in Heating and Ventilation Service & Maintenance.
Additional Requirements
Full UK Driving Licence.
Strong understanding of H&S regulations, risk assessments and COSHH requirements.
