We are seeking a dedicated, empathetic, and organized Grade 3 Teaching Assistant to join our team and provide high-quality support to pupils with diverse learning and special educational needs (SEN).Working under the guidance of our SENCO and teaching staff, you will play a crucial role in delivering targeted learning interventions, implementing EHCP requirements, fostering an inclusive classroom environment, and helping pupils build independence and self-esteem.Key ResponsibilitiesImplement EHCP requirements, deliver tailored 1:1 and small group interventions, support personal care/welfare needs, and promote pupil independence and self-esteem. Help create a structured and supportive learning environment, assist with lesson preparation and display work, monitor pupil progress, and maintain accurate progress records. Assist pupils in developing core literacy, numeracy, and ICT skills using a variety of adaptive resources and strategies.Provide pastoral support, assist during unstructured times (break/lunchtime supervision, trips), and adhere strictly to safeguarding, child protection, and health & safety policies.What We Are Looking ForEssential:GCSE Level 2 (or equivalent) in Literacy and Numeracy. NVQ Level 2 for Teaching Assistants (or equivalent) + completion of the DfES TA Induction Programme OR Minimum of 3 years' relevant experience as a Teaching/Learning Support Assistant with a willingness to complete the TA Induction Programme.
