Summary
This post will be based at North Tyneside General Hospital, however the successful candidate will be expected to travel to Wansbeck General Hospital to provide cover when needed. This post also includes evening and weekend shifts on a rotational basis. To assist in the provision and delivery of a high-quality radiographic service within Northumbria Health Care Trust, whilst adhering to all trust and departmental policies and procedures. The successful candidates will join a highly motivated, fast paced teams providing in depth appointments and detailed preparation information to both patients and clinical teams. The role includes managing a range of service lists, dealing with incoming and outgoing calls from patients and clinicians relating to appointment queries. The candidates will be expected to liaise with clinicals teams and Consultants on a daily basis. To act as a first point of contact for the unit and co-ordinate all patient appointments and enquiries using initiative to discern between queries ensuring minimum interruption to the unit or immediate response depending upon appropriate action.
