Are you an experienced Recruiter or Talent Acquisition Specialist looking for your next in-house opportunity? 

We're looking for an experienced recruiter to join our Talent Acquisition team, supporting the recruitment of mid-to-senior management and specialist roles to help us continue to attract the best talent for our Head Office Functions. 

About the role 

You'll partner closely with hiring managers and senior stakeholders, managing recruitment activity and proactively identifying the talent Royal Mail needs. 

You'll use direct sourcing, LinkedIn Recruiter, professional networks and talent mapping to identify and engage prospective candidates, while building strong talent pipelines for current and future vacancies. 

You'll also:

Act as a trusted recruitment partner to hiring managers and senior stakeholders, developing a deep understanding of their function, challenges and future talent needs 

-

Partner with hiring managers to understand current and future workforce needs, anticipating upcoming vacancies and developing talent pipelines before managing recruitment activity through to offer 

-

Proactively source and engage candidates through LinkedIn Recruiter and other recruitment channels 

-

Build and maintain relevant talent pools and professional networks 

-

Provide market and talent insights to support recruitment decisions 

-

Create engaging job adverts and promote our Employee Value Proposition 

-

Confidently collate, analyse and share recruitment data and insights with stakeholders to drive informed decisions and continually improve recruitment outcomes.

Deliver a positive candidate and stakeholder experience throughout the recruitment process 

Who are we looking for? 

We're looking for someone who can quickly make an impact and is comfortable operating in a fast-paced, in-house recruitment environment. 

You'll bring the following essential skills and experience: 

 Proven experience in an in-house Recruiter, Talent Acquisition Specialist or similar recruitment role 

-

A confident communicator, able to influence stakeholders, navigate challenges and drive positive outcomes 

-

Strong experience of direct sourcing and proactive candidate attraction 

-

Experience using LinkedIn Recruiter, networking and search platforms 

-

Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the confidence to partner with hiring managers and senior stakeholders 

-

Experience of talent mapping and building candidate pipelines 

-

Strong job advert writing and candidate attraction skills 

-

Experience recruiting management and/or specialist roles across a range of functions
