Summary

What's involved with this role:

Triumph Consultants are looking for a creative and proactive Social Media Officer to produce engaging digital content and support social media activity across Brentwood Borough Council and Rochford District Council. Contract is for 3 months in Brentwood CM15 8AY.

Social Media Officer

Pay Rate: £16.66-£17.90 per hour PAYE

Hours per week: 37 Monday – Friday, 8:30-17:00 (16:30 Fridays)

Contract length: 3 months

Location: Brentwood CM158AY

Hybrid – Up to 3 days in the office

Key requirements:

• Experience producing engaging social media video, images and written content.

• Strong image and video editing skills, including camera, lighting and sound recording.

• Experience managing and scheduling social media content in a business environment.

• Able to turn complex messages into clear, engaging content using words and visuals.

• Full UK driving licence and flexibility to work across both Council locations.

Key responsibilities:

• Create engaging written, graphic, video and photography content for social media and digital channels.

• Schedule, publish and monitor social media content, responding to audiences promptly and professionally.

• Monitor media and social coverage and identify emerging platforms, trends and opportunities.

• Collect, analyse and report insight from organic and paid social campaigns.

• Support communications campaigns and design multimedia assets, including graphics using Canva.
