Summary

Everest Recruitment and Services Ltd is recruiting a Social Media Officer for a temporary agency assignment with a public sector client in Essex,Brentwood from 12 October 2026 to 8 January 2027.

You will create engaging social media content that informs and connects with residents, turning projects, services and achievements into compelling stories.

Responsibilities include:

• Creating and publishing content across social media platforms.

• Writing social posts, articles and campaign messaging.

• Developing graphics and imagery for social media, newsletters and internal communications.

• Capturing and editing smartphone photography and video.

• Scheduling and optimising content.

• Monitoring and responding to comments and messages professionally, including sensitive discussions.

This is a hybrid role requiring attendance at two office locations within Essex for 2–3 days per week, with remaining days worked from home. Client details and exact locations will be shared during the application and onboarding process.
