Summary

Rural Surveyor

The Job:

Our client is looking for an experienced Rural Surveyor to join their established rural property team. This is a varied role working with farmers, landowners and rural businesses, providing professional advice across a broad range of rural property and land matters.

Key Responsibilities:

- Providing professional rural surveying advice to farmers, landowners and rural businesses

- Undertaking rural property and land valuations for a range of purposes

- Advising on landlord and tenant matters, estate management and rural property matters

- Supporting clients with compulsory purchase and compensation work

- Assisting with rural property transactions, agency and development opportunities

- Developing and maintaining strong, long-term client relationships

- Working collaboratively with colleagues across the wider rural and property teams

Our client is an established multi-disciplinary property and rural consultancy with a strong reputation within the rural sector. The business works with a diverse range of farmers, landowners, rural businesses and property owners, providing specialist advice across rural property, land, valuation, farm business and development matters.

The Candidate

- Previous experience within rural surveying, rural property or a closely related professional role

- Ideally RICS qualified or working towards chartership, with a relevant surveying or rural property qualification

- Strong knowledge of rural property, land and agricultural matters, with experience across areas such as valuations, landlord & tenant, estate management or compulsory purchase

- Confident dealing directly with farmers, landowners and professional clients, with strong communication and relationship-building skills

- Commercially aware, well organised and able to manage a varied workload while working to deadlines

- A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel as required

The Package

- Salary £50,000 - £60,000 dependent on experience and qualifications
