Summary

What's involved with this role:

Triumph Consultants are looking for a Facilities Officer to be responsible for supporting the day-to-day operation of council buildings and assisting in the delivery of facilities management services. Contract is for 6 months in Sheffield.

Facilities Officer

Pay Rate: £17.18 per hour PAYE

Hours per week: 37, Monday – Friday, 08:00 - 16:00

Contract length: 6 Months

Location: Sheffield, South Yorkshire, S1 4PL

Office-based

Key requirements:

Driving license and access to a vehicle

Hold or work towards Relevant IWFM L3 Facilities Management qualification, educational qualification or has experience working within a facilities management, property, building services, or operational environment.

Is confident using Microsoft Office applications and electronic record systems.

Has a good understanding of health and safety principles and compliance requirements.

Key responsibilities:

Monitoring and maintaining high standards of building cleanliness, safety, and presentation.

Supporting the management of contracted services, including cleaning, security, waste management, and grounds maintenance.

Undertaking building inspections and reporting defects or maintenance issues.

Assisting with health and safety compliance, including audits, risk assessments, and statutory checks.

Responding to customer enquiries and resolving facilities-related issues.
