Primary Teacher - Build Your Career in Education
Location: Sefton, Merseyside
Salary: £120-£220 per day
Contract: Full-Time
Start Date: ASAP
If you're a qualified Primary Teacher looking for a role where you can continue developing your skills, gain valuable experience and make a genuine impact in the classroom, this could be an excellent next step.
We are recruiting a Primary Teacher in Sefton to join a supportive primary school on a full-time basis, with an ASAP start available.
This opportunity would suit an enthusiastic teacher who wants to become part of a school community where they can build their experience and continue progressing professionally.
Whether you're an Early Career Teacher looking to establish yourself in the classroom, returning to teaching after a break, or an experienced teacher looking for a fresh environment, you'll have the opportunity to develop your practice while supporting children through an important stage of their education.
You'll take responsibility for creating a positive, engaging and well-structured classroom where pupils feel confident to participate, learn and make progress.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Planning and delivering engaging lessons across the primary curriculum
- Adapting activities to meet different abilities and learning styles
- Creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment
- Monitoring pupil progress and using assessment to inform future teaching
- Supporting pupils who may require additional help with their learning
- Managing classroom behaviour positively and consistently
- Working alongside Teaching Assistants and support staff
- Communicating effectively with colleagues, parents and carers
- Contributing to the wider life of the school
- Helping pupils develop confidence, independence and a positive attitude towards learning
Your next teaching role should give you the opportunity to develop as well as teach.
This position offers valuable experience within a primary setting and the chance to strengthen your skills across areas including curriculum delivery, behaviour management, differentiation, SEND support and inclusive teaching.
You'll work alongside experienced education professionals and have opportunities to learn from colleagues, develop new approaches and build experience that can support your longer-term career goals.
For an ECT, this could be a great opportunity to gain further practical experience and confidence. For an established teacher, it provides the chance to bring your existing knowledge into a new environment while continuing to develop professionally.
Every primary classroom includes children with different strengths, experiences and support needs.
You'll be expected to recognise those differences and adapt your teaching accordingly, helping pupils access learning at a level that challenges and supports them.
You may work with children who require additional support with areas such as communication, concentration, literacy, numeracy, emotional regulation or SEND.
A patient, adaptable and encouraging approach will therefore be an important part of the role.
To be considered, you should have:
- QTS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification
- Experience teaching or training within a primary school setting
- A good understanding of the primary curriculum
- The ability to plan engaging and appropriately differentiated lessons
- Confident classroom and behaviour management skills
- A positive approach to inclusive education
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- The ability to work effectively as part of a wider school team
- A genuine desire to help children achieve their potential
Above all, we're looking for a teacher who enjoys working with children and wants to continue growing within the profession.
If you're searching for a Primary Teacher job in Sefton and are available to start ASAP, we'd like to hear from you.
This could be the opportunity to gain new experience, develop your teaching practice and take another positive step forward in your education career.
