We are at an exciting stage of development, having recently moved to two purpose-built sites in Llanrumney (EAST) and Fairwater (WEST). The HLTA role will be based in Llanrumney. ________________________________________The successful candidate will:• Have experience of working with vulnerable pupils who display distressed behaviours and/or have Additional Learning Needs (ALN);• Be compassionate, empathetic and FUN to maximise pupil outcomes;• Demonstrate strong communication skills to work in partnership with colleagues, parents/carers, and external agencies;• Be flexible, collaborative and reflective in their approach;• Have high expectations of pupil achievement and a commitment to raising standards;• Be a role model for other staff and lead classes on a regular basis. ________________________________________This is a challenging yet highly rewarding role.
