Job Advert Description
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join us as a Building Technology Project Manager in the Estates Department.
What you will be doing?
To provide tactical building efficiency though use of M&E system enhancements, CAFM systems and effective project management and coordination services in pursuit of the delivery of the capital plan. The post holder will also work with external consultants/suppliers and internal teams, to deliver an array of specific projects. This role will also cover for the Project Manager, as required.
Role Specific:
1. Liaise with Estates support team and wider support functions, including the FM team and finance to coordinate, plan, and deliver, compliant solutions and building improvement plans, using BMS data/estates systems and client briefs as required. This will be achieved through preparing standardised business cases which will include cost benefit analysis for approval by the estates board as required.
2. Establish individual project budgets to within +/- 10%.
3. Carry out the duties of a Clerk of Works role, providing quality reviews of project work, completed during and on completion, ensuring compliance with specification and quality standards defined in tender specifications.
