As a Primary Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with the class teacher to support pupils across the primary age range. You will assist with the delivery of engaging lessons, provide targeted interventions, and support children with their academic, social and emotional development.You may be required to work with small groups or on a one-to-one basis, helping pupils to access learning and achieve positive outcomes.

The successful candidate will play a key role in creating a safe, inclusive and positive learning environment.

What You'll Need to Succeed

Experience working with children in a primary school or early years educational setting

A relevant Teaching Assistant qualification

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

A patient, caring and supportive approach

Ability to work effectively as part of a team

Knowledge of safeguarding and child protection procedures

A commitment to supporting pupils' learning and development
