Summary

What's involved with this role:

Triumph Consultants are looking for a Property Asset Officer to work within a local authority Regeneration & Housing team. Contract is for approx. 4 months in Middlesbrough, TS1 9FT

Property Asset Officer

Pay Rate: £22.26 per hour PAYE

Hours per week: 37 Monday – Friday, normal working hours

Contract length: Approx.. 4 months

Location: Middlesbrough, TS1 9FT

Office-based

Key requirements:

Experience of Project Management is desirable, ideally within a local authority or public sector organisation

Good understanding of Building Regulations

Good understanding of Planning requirements for construction activities

An understanding of the DFE school building bulletins

Experience of Autocad

Experience of a Asset Management database i.e. Civica or similar

Previous experience of Asset Management

PC literacy in Microsoft Office software

Key responsibilities

Assist the Built Asset Service in the management of the projects/programmes of work to achieve strategic asset management and assist with development and co-ordination of property related policies and programmes.

Support the development of capital maintenance programmes and the Corporate Asset Management plan to ensure they are proposed and delivered in accordance with Councils Objectives and timescales.

Liaise with staff in service areas to ensure that corporate landlord property systems and procedures are developed and maintained.

Assist in the delivery the corporate landlord concept and asset management framework

Support the development and implementation of property strategies at both corporate and service level

Undertake project management of capital projects together with associated budget monitoring both corporate and Education funded.

Assist in the preparation of capital funding bids, including feasibility studies and option appraisals and the monitoring of its implementation.
