An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior HR Business Partner to play a pivotal role in shaping and delivering a proactive, commercially focused HR service.

This is a high-impact role for an HR professional who can challenge, influence and drive change, working closely with senior leaders and managers to improve people practices, performance and organisational outcomes.

The Role

You will:

Provide strategic HR leadership, advice and challenge across a range of complex people matters.

Lead and embed an effective HR Business Partnering model, enabling managers to become more confident and self-sufficient.

Provide expert advice on Employee Relations, TUPE, Trade Unions, Job Evaluation, Pensions, Equality & Diversity, restructures and redundancy consultations.

Build strong relationships with senior leaders and managers, acting as a trusted HR adviser and credible strategic partner.

Lead on organisational change and business transformation, translating strategic priorities into effective people solutions.

Coach and develop managers to strengthen their people-management skills, improve performance and enhance employee engagement.

Review and develop HR policies and procedures, ensuring they reflect legislative and organisational requirements.

Provide specialist expertise and support on Job Evaluation and pay structures, including related consultations.

Contribute to Health & Wellbeing strategies, employee support services, contracts and budgets.

Support the development of organisational values, behaviours and employee engagement initiatives.

Lead, develop and support members of the HR team, providing technical guidance on complex cases.

Build external professional networks and share best practice to identify innovative HR solutions.

Promote equality, inclusion and excellent customer service across all aspects of HR delivery.

Deputise for the Head of HR when required.

What We're Looking For

We're looking for a senior, confident and influential HR professional with extensive experience of HR Business Partnering within a complex organisation.

You will bring strong knowledge of employment legislation, employee relations, organisational change, workforce transformation and strategic people management, together with the ability to influence senior stakeholders and challenge established ways of working.

You’ll be a natural relationship builder, an excellent communicator and someone who can turn strategic HR priorities into practical, measurable improvements.
