Summary

UWE Bristol has a fantastic opportunity for an experienced researcher to join the Same Day Urgent Care (SURGE) Workforce Research Partnership. The SURGE team, led by senior researchers from UWE Bristol, is formed of co-applicants from 13 organisations, including a range of Universities and NHS institutions.

We build on pre-existing successful collaborations investigating a variety of workforce issues including the integration of emerging roles in primary care; General Practitioners in Emergency Departments; general practice composition and performance; and first response services in rural communities, using a range of methodologies including realist evaluations, systematic reviews, scheduling and data forecasting, surveys and mixed methods research. Our partnership has been funded by NIHR Health and Social Care Delivery Research Programme for 5 years to undertake cutting edge research investigating the Same Day Urgent care workforce. You will be invited to join the NIHR Academy.
