Summary

As Housekeeper within our Refuge Service, you will play an important role in creating a safe, clean and welcoming environment for women and children who are accessing refuge support. You will help ensure communal areas, facilities and accommodation are maintained to a high standard, supporting residents to feel comfortable, respected and safe during their time with us.

You will be responsible for maintaining the day-to-day housekeeping standards of the refuge, completing health and safety checks, preparing rooms for new residents and identifying any maintenance issues or repairs that need attention. You will work closely with refuge colleagues to ensure the building remains a safe and supportive place for women and children.

This is a practical and rewarding role, ideal for someone who takes pride in their work, has a strong eye for detail and is passionate about creating positive environments where people feel valued and supported. You will be joining a team committed to providing safe accommodation and compassionate support for survivors of domestic abuse.
