Summary
Part-time, Fixed Term
Applicants are invited for the post of Administrator within the Faculty of Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences. This 0.2 post provides for an Administrator for a two year UKRI project. The work could be carried out on one day of the week or the hours could be spread out over two or more days. The post holder would be working with the Project Lead and the Project Manager and would assist with administrative aspects of this large, interdisciplinary project, with particular focus on working with the Armenian team. The project is part of a large consortium, involving Italy, France, Armenia and the UK, as well as subcontractors in Armenia.
The successful candidate will be educated to A-level standard or have equivalent experience and will have experience of working in an administrative or customer service environment. They will demonstrate excellent organisational skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to managing their workload.
The Candidate should/will be comfortable working with colleagues across the project and in Armenia, supporting day-to-day administrative processes. They will have good organisational skills and be able to prioritise their workload and meet deadlines. They will also demonstrate good communication skills when responding to enquiries from staff and students, and will have good IT skills including Microsoft Office and the ability to learn new systems.
