This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience supporting students with a range of additional needs while working alongside experienced teachers and SEND professionals.
The Role
As a Graduate SEND Teaching Assistant, you'll provide tailored support to students who need additional help to access their education and develop their confidence.
You will:
Provide
1:1 and small-group support
to students with SEND
Assist students with developing
confidence, independence and communication skills
Work closely with teachers, the

Who are we looking for?

Patience, empathy and resilience
We're particularly interested in graduates considering a future career in
education, educational psychology, counselling, therapy or SEND provision.
Previous school experience isn't essential.

right attitude and genuine commitment to supporting young people.
What can you gain from the role?
This is an opportunity to gain
valuable, hands-on experience within a secondary school
and develop a deeper understanding of SEND.
You'll have the opportunity to:
Gain experience in
1:1 and small-group support
Build valuable experience for
teacher training and other education-based careers
Ready to take the next step?
If you're a graduate who wants to
gain meaningful experience, support young people and build a career in education or SEND, we'd love to hear from you.
