The organisation operates within the wholesale sector and is seeking a reliable HGV Class 2 Driver to support its local delivery operation.The roleWe are looking for an experienced HGV Class 2 Driver to complete local delivery work across Leeds and the surrounding area. This is a temporary, day-shift position offering regular work and the possibility of permanent employment.Key responsibilities• Driving an HGV Class 2 vehicle safely and responsibly• Completing local drops to customers and delivery locations• Loading, unloading and moving goods using handball techniques• Carrying out vehicle checks and reporting any issues• Completing delivery paperwork accurately• Providing professional and helpful service at each deliverySkills and qualifications• Valid HGV Class 2 licence• Relevant driver documentation, including Driver CPC and tachograph card• Previous experience with local deliveries• Confident with handball and manual handling• Good knowledge of Leeds and surrounding areas• Reliable, punctual and safety-conscious• Good communication and customer service skillsBenefits• £16 per hour• Minimum of 8 hours paid• Paid every Wednesday• Opportunity to become visible to local employers• Potential opportunity for permanent employmentIf you are an experienced HGV Class 2 Driver looking for day work in Leeds, apply today.
