This temporary position would suit a reliable and safety-conscious driver who takes pride in delivering excellent service.Key responsibilities• Drive HGV Class 1 vehicles safely and responsibly• Complete planned deliveries and collections in line with schedules• Carry out vehicle checks and report any defects promptly• Ensure loads are secure and paperwork is completed accurately• Maintain professional communication with customers, site teams and transport staff• Follow all relevant road safety, transport and company procedures• Represent the business positively while on the road and at delivery locationsSkills and qualifications• Valid UK Category C+E driving licence• Driver Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC)• Digital tachograph card• Previous HGV Class 1 driving experience• Good knowledge of UK roads and transport regulations• Strong awareness of vehicle safety and load security• Reliable, punctual and able to work independently• Professional approach and good communication skillsBenefits• Pay of £17.50–£18.00 per hour• Paid every Wednesday• Opportunity to be visible to local employers• Temporary day-shift work in LeedsApply today.
