Its operations include local branch activity and business-focused support, with offerings covering food, catering supplies and related services.The roleWe are looking for a reliable HGV Class 2 Driver to join a busy Leeds operation on a temporary, day-shift basis. You will be responsible for making deliveries safely and on time while providing a professional service to customers.Key responsibilities• Carry out local and regional deliveries using an HGV Class 2 vehicle• Complete vehicle checks before and after each shift• Load, secure and unload goods safely• Follow delivery schedules, route instructions and legal driving requirements• Complete delivery paperwork accurately• Communicate professionally with customers and site contacts• Report any vehicle, delivery or product issues promptly• Maintain high standards of safety and cleanlinessSkills and qualifications• Full UK HGV Class 2 licence• Valid Driver Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC)• Valid Digital Tachograph Card• Previous commercial driving experience is preferred• Good knowledge of road safety and drivers’ hours regulations• Reliable, punctual and safety-conscious approach• Good communication and customer service skills• Able to handle manual loading and unloading where requiredBenefits• Paid every Wednesday• Opportunity to be visible to local employersThis is a temporary opportunity offering regular daytime work in Leeds.
