Cleaning Supervisor - Mitie
We are looking for a reliable and motivated Cleaning Supervisor to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting and leading a team of cleaners, ensuring cleaning standards are maintained at all times and that all work is completed safely and efficiently.
As a Cleaning Supervisor, you will carry out regular quality checks, provide coaching and support to cleaning colleagues, assist with training new starters, and ensure all company policies and procedures are followed. You will be expected to lead by example, maintain strong communication with both the team and the client, and take ownership of any issues raised on site.
Key Responsibilities:
-Supervising and supporting the cleaning team on a daily basis.
-Ensuring all cleaning tasks are completed to the required standard.
-Carrying out quality audits and site inspections.
-Training, coaching and developing cleaning colleagues.
-Managing stock levels and ordering cleaning materials when required.
-Ensuring all health and safety procedures and COSHH regulations are followed.
-Monitoring attendance, timekeeping and performance.
-Reporting any maintenance, health and safety or service issues.
-Building positive working relationships with clients and site management.
-Assisting with recruitment, onboarding and induction of new starters where required.
What We're Looking For:
-Previous cleaning experience.
-Supervisory experience is preferred but not essential.
-Good communication and organisation skills.
-Ability to motivate and support a team.
-Good attention to detail and commitment to high standards.
-A positive and professional attitude.
-Ability to work independently and use initiative.
