Summary

We are currently recruiting for a Service Advisor at a respected franchised main dealer in Plymouth. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced motor trade professional to join a well-established dealership team and develop their career within a dynamic environment.

Benefits of a Service Advisor:

- Competitive basic salary of £27,000 per annum

- Potential earnings of up to £35,000 including bonuses and overtime

- Monday to Friday working week with Saturday mornings on a one-in-four basis

- Morning off on a Monday when the previous Saturday was worked

Duties of a Service Advisor:

- Providing exceptional customer service and maintaining strong client relationships

- Managing service appointment bookings and liaising with customers to explain vehicle repairs and service requirements

- Assisting with workshop scheduling and ensuring work is completed efficiently

- Generating upsell opportunities and promoting dealership services

- Ensuring high standards of customer satisfaction and professional communication

- Handling administrative tasks related to service department operations

Requirements of a Service Advisor:

- Previous experience as a Service Advisor or in a similar customer-facing role within the motor industry preferred but not absolutely essential

- Strong customer service skills with excellent communication abilities

- Face-to-face customer interaction experience

- Full valid UK driver’s licence

- Professional attitude and a proactive approach to work
