Summary
Room Leader – Level 3
£32,000 per year | 40 Hours per Week

Set within a beautiful new building, each room has been carefully designed around the needs of young children, creating a warm, nurturing and engaging environment where they can explore, make choices and become increasingly independent.
The nursery places a strong focus on building confidence and school readiness, while giving children plenty of freedom to learn through play and develop at their own pace.
As Room Leader, you’ll take ownership of your room, combining hands-on Early Years practice with the responsibility of leading and supporting your team to provide consistently high-quality care and learning experiences.
What You’ll Need
A
full and relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification or above
Previous experience working within a nursery or Early Years setting
Room Leader, Senior Practitioner or similar leadership experience would be beneficial
Strong understanding of the
EYFS and child development
Confidence leading, supporting and motivating a room team
Strong communication and organisational skills
A warm, nurturing and hands-on approach to leadership
Good knowledge of safeguarding and child protection

Take responsibility for the day-to-day running of your room
Lead, support and motivate practitioners to deliver consistently high-quality care
Create opportunities for children to explore, make choices and develop independence
Plan engaging experiences around the EYFS and children's individual interests
Support children's communication, confidence and preparation for their next stage
Observe children's development and ensure meaningful next steps are planned
Make the most of the nursery's carefully designed learning environments
Support and develop practitioners through guidance, feedback and positive leadership
Build strong relationships with children, parents and carers
Maintain high standards of safeguarding, health and safety, and wellbeing
