Nursery Practitioner – Level 3
£28,000–£30,000 per year | 40 Hours per Week | Full Time
Set within a beautiful new building, each room has been carefully created around the needs of young children, providing a warm and nurturing environment where they can explore, make choices and become increasingly independent.
The nursery places a strong focus on building confidence and school readiness, while ensuring children still have plenty of freedom to learn through play and enjoy their Early Years.
As a Level 3 Nursery Practitioner, you’ll play an important part in creating those everyday experiences – supporting children to develop at their own pace while helping them build the skills they’ll carry into their next stage.
What You’ll Need
A
full and relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification or above
Previous
experience working within a nursery or Early Years setting
Good understanding of the
EYFS and child development
Confidence supporting children's independence and emerging skills
A warm, nurturing and engaging approach
Strong communication and teamwork skills
A good understanding of safeguarding responsibilities

What You’ll Do
Provide high-quality care and learning experiences throughout the day
Create opportunities for children to explore, make choices and develop independence
Plan engaging activities in line with the EYFS and children's individual interests
Support children's communication, confidence and school readiness
Observe children's development and use this to plan meaningful next steps
Make the most of the nursery's carefully designed indoor learning spaces
Build positive relationships with children, families and colleagues
Maintain high standards of safeguarding, health and safety, and wellbeing
