We are looking for a Building Services Engineer to join the team at the Westfield Shopping Centre contract, one of the largest shopping centre environments in Europe. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced engineer to play a key role in maintaining critical building services and ensuring a high standard of service delivery.

Job Description

We are seeking a proactive and technically skilled engineer with experience in commercial FM environments, who can confidently deliver both planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance activities across a large, fast-paced site. The successful candidate will work closely with the wider engineering team to support operational excellence and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance across electrical and mechanical systems.

Diagnose and rectify faults on building services equipment to minimise downtime.

Inspect, test and maintain electrical assets including lighting, power and distribution systems.

Service and maintain mechanical plant including HVAC systems, pumps, air handling units, boilers and chillers.

Complete maintenance records, reports and compliance documentation accurately and on time.

Ensure all work is completed in accordance with health and safety regulations and company procedures.

Liaise effectively with colleagues, contractors and site stakeholders to support service delivery.

Identify opportunities to improve system performance, reliability and energy efficiency.
