The Role
As a Field Service Engineer, you'll be responsible for maintaining and repairing our ATM estate, ensuring maximum machine availability and outstanding service for our customers.
Working independently across your region, you'll combine technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and customer interaction to deliver a first-class service.
Key Responsibilities
• Carry out second-line break-fix repairs and preventative maintenance on ATM equipment, including Triton, NCR, and Wincor machines
• Diagnose faults efficiently and achieve high first-time fix rates
• Minimise machine downtime through effective troubleshooting and repair
• Build positive relationships with customers and act as a professional ambassador for NoteMachine
• Accurately record service activity, repairs, and parts usage using company systems
• Complete quality checks to ensure work meets company and regulatory standards
• Follow all company procedures, security protocols, and health & safety requirements
• Participate in ongoing technical training and professional development

About You
We're looking for a hands-on engineer with strong fault-finding ability and a passion for delivering excellent customer service.
Essential Requirements
• Previous Field Service Engineering experience working with electro-mechanical equipment
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities
• Full UK manual driving licence with no more than 6 active penalty points
• Ability to work independently and manage your own schedule effectively
• Flexibility to work weekends and bank holidays on a rota basis
• Resident within the CA or DG postcode area
• Ability to successfully pass financial and background screening requirements
Desirable Experience
ATM experience is highly desirable, but we are also keen to hear from candidates with experience working on:
• Vending machines
• Coffee machines
• EPOS and self-service checkout systems
• Ticketing and kiosk equipment
• Parking systems
• Arcade and gaming machines
• Retail technology
• Other electro-mechanical field service environments
