Summary

The ADHD Administrator plays an essential role in supporting governance, quality and patient safety activity across our ADHD service. The PCS ADHD service is working across the interface between primary care, voluntary sector and secondary services, with the aim of improving the mental health and well-being of our communities. You will provide administrative support including sending out requests and collating patient reports, booking and managing clinics, communicating with patients, supporting complaints, concerns and compliments, and supporting weekly multidisciplinary team meetings. This is a hybrid role requiring you to work independently, manage your workload across different locations, and maintain a high level of organisation and attention to detail. Main Duties and Responsibilities Provide day-to-day administrative support across the PCS ADHD service. Send patient communications by email and post. Monitor the ADHD inbox and other incoming correspondence and respond appropriately. Manage and book clinics and appointments. Accurately input and update patient notes and enter clinical decisions as requested. Provide administrative support in meetings, including preparing agendas, taking minutes and updating actions. Maintain and organise electronic and hard copy filing systems. Work alongside managerial and clinical leads to help ensure that high standards of governance, quality and patient safety are maintained across the service. Support the ADHD Team Manager and clinicians to ensure that systems, documentation and processes are well organised, accurate and up to date. Work effectively in a hybrid environment, requiring strong self-organisation and the ability to manage your workload across different locations. Undertake organisational tasks, communicate effectively, and prioritise competing demands in a sensitive and compassionate way. You will uphold PCS values and contribute to an inclusive, supportive and respectful workplace where everyone is valued, treated fairly and has the opportunity to thrive. You will follow PCS policies and relevant professional standards, including those relating to information governance, safeguarding, confidentiality, health and safety and EDI. You will contribute to a culture of continuous improvement and support the delivery of safe, effective and person-centred services. This is not an exhaustive list of duties and responsibilities. You may be required to undertake other duties which fall within the grading of the post, as directed by the line manager.
