We are currently recruiting for an experienced Logistics Coordinator to join a busy and well-established business based in Redditch. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a background in logistics, shipping or export coordination who is looking for a role with the potential to become permanent.
As a Logistics Coordinator, you will be responsible for coordinating the smooth and efficient movement of goods, with a particular focus on export orders, shipping documentation and freight arrangements.
Key Responsibilities
• Process export orders accurately and efficiently.
• Prepare and maintain shipping and export documentation, including picking lists, delivery notes, packing lists and certificates.
• Coordinate freight collections and arrange sea, air and courier shipments.
• Liaise with customer service teams to provide updates on order and dispatch progress.
• Maintain accurate stock records and support stock control activities.
• Coordinate with internal departments to ensure orders are processed and dispatched on time.
• Liaise with third-party suppliers and transport providers to arrange and manage collections.
• Ensure all logistics documentation is completed accurately and in line with company procedures.
• Support the wider logistics team with the smooth day-to-day running of the operation.
About You
The ideal candidate will have previous experience within a logistics, shipping, export or supply chain environment and will be confident coordinating multiple orders and shipments at once.
You will be:
• Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
• Confident communicating with customers, suppliers and internal teams.
• Comfortable working to deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Experienced in preparing logistics or export documentation.
• IT literate with good administrative skills.
• A proactive team player with a hands-on approach.
• Reliable and committed to delivering a high level of service.
