Salary: £23,500 per annum

Brook Street is currently recruiting on behalf of a healthcare provider in Birmingham for a
Theatre Logistics Support Assistant. This role is ideal for someone with a background in the medical or healthcare sector who can help ensure departments remain fully stocked with the equipment, consumables, and supplies required to deliver excellent patient care.
About You
- Physically fit and able to safely move stock, equipment, and supplies as required
- Familiar with medical equipment and healthcare consumables
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail
- Able to carry out regular stock checks and place orders when required
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively with hospital staff and suppliers
- Proactive problem-solver with a flexible approach to work
- Able to follow procedures and maintain accurate records
Key Duties
- Distribute incoming stock and equipment to the appropriate departments
- Complete all necessary paperwork to accurately track stock movements and deliveries
- Follow strict systems, procedures, and compliance requirements
- Conduct regular stock checks and report shortages where necessary
- Maintain the cleanliness and organisation of stores and assigned areas
- Dispose of waste and packaging in line with housekeeping procedures
- Liaise with couriers and external suppliers regarding deliveries, collections, and returns
- Support the smooth day-to-day operation of theatre logistics and stock management
