Summary
About the role:
Provide support and assistance to the Flood Risk & Sustainable Drainage Team in carrying out its duties as a Lead Local Flood Authority, Sustainable Drainage Approval Body, and Land Drainage authority.
The Placement technician will gain practical experience, technical skills, and knowledge relating to land drainage, flood risk management, and sustainable water systems, while contributing to the delivery of essential public services across the county.
As competence grows, responsibilities will increase.
This is a new and exciting position, part-funded by the Welsh Government through the Environmental Engineering Placements Programme, which supports individuals in gaining practical experience, encourages long-term careers in environmental engineering, and helps build the future workforce for this vital sector.
