Summary

Hours of work: Monday to Friday 8:30-4:30 (39 weeks = Term-time only + 5 INSET days)Pay and grading: Grade 7 Points 19-22. Tours of Hazel: If you would like a tour of the school and to discuss the role informally, please contact the school officeMore about the role: You will join an experienced team of HLTA's who cover in all classes across the school. This includes for regular PPA cover (Computing), leadership release and other planned and un-planned cover. You will be part of a phase team with a dedicated Phase Leader. You will also work closely with the Computing lead. HLTA's meet weekly to share planning and receive key information. The hours include a weekly Phase meeting on a Tuesday after-school, and the weekly teacher CPD session on Wednesdays. The school offers an excellent range of CPD and career development opportunities. We take wellbeing seriously and have recently achieved the Investors in People GOLD award. HLTA status: It is an advantage if you have this status. However, we will support any candidates to complete this course within the first 12 months of employment. Candidates who apply for this role without the HLTA status must be able to demonstrate considerable TA experience which includes covering classes from Reception to Year 6.
