Summary

Hours of work: Monday to Friday 8:30-4:30 (39 weeks = Term-time only + 5 INSET days)Pay and grading (SEND TA Post): Grade 4 points 7-10. Actual salary £20015-£21333Pay and grading (Classroom TA Post): Grade 3points 5-6. Tours of Hazel: If you would like a tour of the school and to discuss the role informally, please contact the school officeMore about the SEND TA role: You will work across the school supporting children with varying additional needs. This will be a mixture of in-class support and out-of-class intervention. You will work with different children across a normal day. We do not work using a 1:1 model whereby adults stay with the same child all day. You will join a growing team of SEND TA's and will join weekly meetings and training sessions. A bespoke training package will be organised for you by the Inclusion Leader/Deputy Head Teacher.More about the Classroom TA role: You will be based in a classroom from Reception to Year 6 in the mornings. You will support in class with lessons in Reading, Writing and Maths. In the afternoons you will lead focused interventions including phonics, fluence and guided reading. You will work with different children from across the school in the afternoons. You will join a highly supportive team of Teaching Assistants with lots of experience. You will attend regular meetings and you will be assigned to a phase where you be supported by your Phase Leader.Workload and wellbeing: This is a key priority for the school.
