monitor and report on service performance, compliance and operational outcomes, including engagement with regulatory requirements
provide technical support and guidance to the workforce, ensuring services are delivered safely, compliantly and to the required standard
About you
We are looking for someone who is passionate about leading and developing people and who can create a supportive, inclusive and high-performing team culture.
You will:
have strong people management and leadership experience, ideally within a trades, maintenance or operational environment
be confident in managing performance, supporting employee wellbeing and conducting open and constructive conversations
be able to plan, prioritise and manage competing demands effectively within a busy service environment
demonstrate excellent communication and relationship-building skills
have a proactive, solution-focused approach and the confidence to make informed decisions
be committed to delivering excellent customer service and continuous improvement
you will also bring a strong understanding of gas compliance, repairs and maintenance services, enabling you to effectively support and guide your team
Qualifications and experience
You must have:
significant management experience and/or a recognised management qualification

current ACS certification (for example: CCN1 and relevant modules including CENWAT, HTR1, CKR1 and MET1) and meet the requirements for Gas Safe registration
a health and safety qualification, such as IOSH Working Safely or equivalent
a full UK driving licence
experience within a social housing or local authority environment would be advantageous but is not essential
