The Opportunity
We are looking for a Temporary Warehouse Operative to join our busy Stores Department at Head Office.
This is a varied and active role at the heart of our operation, where you'll help ensure that materials, stock and goods are received, stored, moved and issued accurately to support production and customer requirements. Working across our warehouse and stores areas, you'll be involved in every stage of the materials process, helping to keep the business running smoothly and efficiently. Based on the warehouse responsibilities outlined in the role description.
No two days are the same. One day you may be receiving deliveries and booking stock into the warehouse, while the next you could be preparing materials for production, carrying out stock checks, or supporting the movement of goods across the site.
What You'll Be Doing
· Receiving, inspecting and checking incoming goods and materials.
· Accurately storing stock and ensuring materials are clearly identified and located correctly.
· Picking and issuing materials to support production schedules and customer orders.
· Assisting with stock counts, cycle counts and inventory checks to maintain stock accuracy.
· Loading, unloading and moving materials safely around the site.
· Operating warehouse equipment and, where authorised, forklift trucks.
· Ensuring warehouse areas remain organised, clean and safe at all times.
· Completing warehouse documentation and recording stock movements accurately.
· Supporting production teams by ensuring materials are available when needed.
· Contributing to continuous improvements and helping maintain an efficient warehouse operation.
