Summary

We are recruiting on behalf of our client for a Vehicle Technician to join a well-established independent MOT and Service Centre based in Warwick. The Vehicle Technician role offers a stable, full-time position with excellent career prospects. The successful Vehicle Technician will work in a modern, fully equipped workshop, servicing a variety of vehicle makes and models with a focus on high standards and customer satisfaction. This is an ideal opportunity for experienced Vehicle Technicians seeking long-term employment in a supportive environment.

- Salary up to £38,000 basic plus performance bonus

- Monday to Friday working week with early finish on Fridays

Duties of a Vehicle Technician:

- Conduct servicing, repairs, and maintenance on all vehicle makes and models

- Perform diagnostics and fault-finding using the latest tools and equipment

- Carry out mechanical work including brakes, suspension, clutches, timing belts, and gearboxes

- Complete routine maintenance tasks such as fluid changes and general checks

- Inspect and test electronic and computer-controlled systems

- Perform tyre fitting and wheel alignment as required

- Accurately document all work carried out in accordance with GDPR and company standards

- Contribute to a high-quality customer service experience while working collaboratively within the workshop team

Requirements of a Vehicle Technician:

- NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair, or strong time-served experience

- Proven mechanical knowledge across a broad range of vehicle makes and models

- Confident in working independently to a high standard

- Proficient in using diagnostic tools and equipment

- Full UK driving licence is essential; MOT licence beneficial but not required

- Hybrid/EV qualification is advantageous but not required
