Summary

Production Operative - Lowersoft - NR32

£508.40 per week (40 hrs) Up to £889.80 per week with overtime (60 hrs)

Full Time | Temporary | Immediate Starts

Gi Group is recruiting Production Operatives for a modern, high‑performance food manufacturing site in Lowestoft. This is long‑term work, backed by a 2‑week intensive training programme designed to set you up for success.

Important Requirements - No Exceptions

MUST travel to Lowestoft daily

MUST accept weekly shift patterns issued every Friday (mix of 8 & 12‑hour shifts: mornings, afternoons & nights)

MUST pass Food Hygiene Assessment Centre

MUST be able to start within 7 days of a successful interview

What You'll Be Doing

Working at pace on a busy food production line

Operating industrial processing machinery

Following strict food hygiene & safety procedures

Carrying out quality checks to maintain top‑tier standards

Packaging, labelling and preparing finished goods

Working in warm or cold departments depending on production needs

What You Need

Experience with machinery, quality checks or packaging

Strong understanding of food hygiene & safety

Ability to stay focused in a fast‑moving environment

Solid communication & teamwork skills

Reliable time management and adaptability across changing shifts
