Description
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Team Manager / Independent Reviewing Officer (IRO) for Children's services to join our dynamic Child and Adolescent Protection (CAP) team. This pivotal role offers the opportunity to oversee and manage a team of professionals dedicated to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children within the community. The successful candidate will play a critical role in ensuring that children's care plans are robust, effective, and focused on achieving the best possible outcomes for each child. You will be responsible for independently reviewing care plans, providing leadership and support to your team, and working collaboratively with multidisciplinary partners to uphold high standards of practice and compliance with legal and regulatory frameworks. Responsibilities
Lead and manage a team of children’s social care professionals, ensuring high standards of practice and professional development.
Act as an Independent Reviewing Officer (IRO) to oversee, review, and monitor children’s care plans and placements.
Ensure that care plans comply with legal requirements and promote the welfare and safety of children.
Chair review meetings, engaging effectively with children, families, and partner agencies.
Provide guidance, support, and supervision to team members, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
Monitor and report on the performance of children’s services and implement improvement plans as needed.
Collaborate with multi-agency partners to ensure coordinated service delivery and safeguarding of children.

Start Time: 09:00
End Time: 17:30
Pay Per Hour: £30.96
