This permanent daytime role offers an opportunity for an experienced HGV Class 2 driver to support local operations and carry out regular multi-drop deliveries.The roleWe are seeking a reliable and professional HGV Class 2 Driver to join a busy daytime operation in Gloucester. You will be responsible for completing multi-drop deliveries safely, efficiently and on time.Key responsibilities- Driving an HGV Class 2 vehicle on local and regional delivery routes- Completing multi-drop deliveries, typically involving more than 10 drops- Loading, securing and checking goods before departure- Carrying out delivery paperwork and obtaining required signatures- Providing a professional service at each delivery point- Completing daily vehicle checks and reporting any issues- Working safely and in line with relevant transport regulationsSkills and qualifications- Valid HGV Class 2 licence- Current Driver CPC qualification- Previous experience with multi-drop deliveries, ideally involving more than 10 drops- Good knowledge of road safety and safe vehicle operation- Reliable, punctual and well organised- Professional communication skills- Physically able to assist with delivery duties where requiredBenefits- £16 per hour- Permanent employment- Day shifts- Paid every Wednesday- Local Gloucester-based opportunityIf you are an experienced HGV Class 2 Driver looking for a permanent daytime position, apply today.
